Determines where your item appears in eBay's browse categories, and which item specifics buyers can filter by. Must be a specific leaf category, not a broad one like "Electronics." Look one up on eBay →

Add at least one photo -- the first is used as the main image. Up to 12.
"New other" = new but opened, missing original packaging, or never used display stock. "Certified refurbished" is restored and certified by the manufacturer; "Seller refurbished" means you restored it yourself. This list updates once you pick a category -- some categories (media, video games) use different condition names.
Quantity is how many identical units you're listing at this price -- use 1 unless you have duplicates.
Where the item ships from. Shown to buyers as your general area (never your full address) and used to estimate delivery time and shipping cost.
Packed weight including box/envelope -- eBay uses this to calculate shipping cost, even with a flat-rate shipping policy.
Free shipping
The carrier service shown to buyers at checkout -- pick whichever you'll actually use to ship it.
What the buyer pays for shipping. Ignored (treated as $0) when Free shipping is on.
Business days between a sale and when you hand it to the carrier. Shown to buyers as part of the estimated delivery date.
Accept returns
How many days a buyer has to send an item back if they change their mind, and who covers that return postage. Turning this off can make buyers more hesitant to purchase.
"Good 'Til Cancelled" (GTC) relists automatically every 30 days until it sells or you end it -- the usual choice for fixed-price items. The day options end the listing outright after that many days.
